These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the nineteen71.ae website and your purchase of products from Nineteen Seventy One General Trading L.L.C - O.P.C, a company registered with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development under Trade License No. CN-5229067, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Products & Availability

All products listed on our website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue any product without prior notice. Product images are representative — minor variations in colour or finish may occur due to handcrafted production or screen settings.

3. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are displayed in UAE Dirhams (AED)
• Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes. Nineteen Seventy One General Trading L.L.C - O.P.C is not currently VAT-registered; no VAT is charged on purchases
• We accept: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Cash on Delivery (COD)
• Card payments are processed securely through Stripe with bank-level encryption
• There are no additional COD surcharges

4. Orders & Confirmation

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation via email or WhatsApp. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to: product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.

5. Custom Orders (1971 · Make)

Custom-made products under the 1971 · Make brand are produced to your specifications. Custom orders require a quote via WhatsApp before production begins. Once production has commenced, custom orders are non-refundable unless the item received is defective or materially different from the agreed specifications.

6. Delivery

We deliver across the UAE. Delivery times and options are detailed on our Shipping & Delivery page.

7. Returns & Exchanges

Our return policy is detailed on our Returns & Exchanges page. In accordance with UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15/2020), consumers have the right to return defective, incomplete, damaged, or incorrectly described products.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including but not limited to logos, product names, images, text, designs, and graphics — is the property of Nineteen Seventy One General Trading L.L.C - O.P.C and is protected by UAE intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product(s) in question.

10. Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving any disputes amicably. Contact us via WhatsApp and we will work to resolve it within 14 business days. If a resolution cannot be reached, any dispute shall be referred to the competent courts of Abu Dhabi, UAE.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 and Federal Law No. 15/2020. The courts of Abu Dhabi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on our website.
